- 2 / 5By MJ SmithMy girlfriend and I went to Applebee's on a Thursday evening at 8PM for appetizers only.
The restaurant was hardly busy, yet it took several minutes before a hostess addressed us. I'd requested a booth and we were directed to a half booth, which I politely declined as there were several "real" booths available. One only needed to be bussed and I said we'd happily wait to have that booth.
The original hostess went to bus the booth, yet never returned. We were then approached by 3 separate wait staff and one finally sat us at a booth, which had not been cleared.
We were only given one one set of silverware and never received the second. We ordered one water and two Mountain Dew drinks, only received two waters and one Mtn Dew, which then were never refilled.
After placing our order, we were never checked on until our check was brought to us.
One of the appetizer plates was covered, on the underside, in ranch dressing. This became a lovely mess, as we only had the one set of silverware and one lonely napkin.
Needless to say, we will Not be returning to this location.
I'd hate to see what this establishment is like on a busy night or weekend.April 09, 2017
